In order to improve the creation and implementation of quality guidance for Social Workers, we propose:

• Central Office should develop and mandate the adoption of best practices for all areas Social Work practice (even under non-crisis conditions)
• Central Office should commit to regular meetings with our union, DC37 / Local 768, to review these best practices and facilitate resolution of breaches of these practices

Most of us agreed with sending a petition to Dr. Katz requesting a virtual town-hall meeting. Quite a few also agreed with getting some outside support as well (i.e. media and local politicians), but before we move forward on anything, we wanted to discuss these plans with you.
