I am a Supervising Public Health Advisor with School Health Vision Program. I have been working with the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for over 25 years. I am joining with the REBUILD slate, because we are a group of people who are willing to work for the members and involve them in the decisions that matter.
I honestly cannot recall the last time we had a Public Health Advisor Chapter meeting. It is so important that we stay informed and be able to disseminate information to the members, and also for members to have a voice in contract negotiations. I am running for the 1st Vice President position, which is responsible for supporting research and negotiations for our Local, and will implement our proposals to involve our members, Stewards and Chapters in negotiating the contracts that shape their lives. I hope that we can count on your support!
