Protect the Results

We are so proud that our team won this election. The members of our Local, you gave us this win. From the President, to the CLC delegates for Local 768, every single one of the Rebuild candidates won, averaging more than 55% of the vote!

We worked hard as a team to win your support, to REBUILD our union, Local 768.

Why do we need your support?

A member has decided to protest the results of the election, and formally filed this protest with the Election Committee. On Wednesday December 23, 2020, at a time to still be determined, there will be a special membership meeting for the Election Committee to make their report.
The members of our local, YOU, at that time will vote to decide whether some -- or all -- of the election results will be set aside. 

How to attend Dec 23rd

You should be getting a notice in the mail inviting you to attend a special online membership meeting Wed, Dec 23rd at 6pm. This meeting is critical, because attendees will be voting on whether or not to throw out your vote and re-run the election!

In order to attend and vote, you will need to do two things:

  1. REGISTER online at www.dc37local.com/768. The form currently posted has typos in it, but please complete it nonetheless
  2. DOWNLOAD the Ring Central Meetings app on whatever device you plan to use (its basically an alternative to Zoom that DC37 prefers using)

You should get an automatic confirmation immediately after registering, and another email the day of the meeting with the Meeting ID and possibly a password.
